12 & U/Intermediate selection
Below are the team selections. I know everyone is working really hard and trying.
However, that doesn’t negate the fact that there is still more improvement to be had.
Below are the figure scores from last season for the current 12 & U group in no
particular order. Last JO Nationals we made it into finals because of a good figure
average, so figures are important. If someone is so low they are bringing the figure
average down, it’s possible we won’t make finals. We need our top swimmers on this
team.

4. 51
5. 50
6. 47
7. 50
8. 51
We will have most of the girls learn 2 routines. Based on figures we will swim either 6 or
8 and the other girls for that particular meet will swim in the other routine. Participation
matters as well. If you are not wanting your daughter to travel to Florida for Youth/12 U
nationals mid April, or JO Nationals in Alabama at the end of June/beginning of July,
also at our meet for West Zones March 4-7 let me know now and we will place them on
the 13-15 Intermediate Team. In addition, if your daughter is too young to stay with
teammates that is an issue as well, as we need confident independent swimmers. As a
parent on these teams, you may not always be selected as a chaperone.
12 & U Hazel, Camilla, Bella, TheinThao, Mia He, Mia L, Vika, Ava, Kennedy.
13-15 Intermediate Team – April, Mia L, Vika, Ava, Kennedy, Miriam, Nathra, Rosie,
Jein. These girls will travel to the Florida international invitational at the beginning of
May. We may swim with 6 or 8 depending on the 12 U team at the time.
11-12 Intermediates – Margarita, Junyi, Claire, Hunter, Adele, Ellie.
