Athlete Safety Membership for Chaperones

Chaperones must be an Athlete Safety Member of USA Artistic Swimming (USAAS). Becoming an athlete safety member requires registering with USAAS, completing a background check, and completing online SafeSport training. You can do this at the USAAS Sport-80 link below.



The link takes you to a page with instructions, instructional videos, and a help link (at the bottom of the page) in case you need additional assistance.


The background check can take several weeks, and the SafeSport training can take several hours. So, please start early.
