Private Coaching

I just want to say that if you do private coaching you need to let me know so I can let you know what to work on. Sometimes with private coaching the coaches teach a different technique then what we use. I am a National Judge is your private coach that?
In addition I don't recommend private coaching unless it's 2 weeks before a meet if you must or if it's for Choreography. Your kids have enough to do.
This is the most important part: If you child is not trying at practice then private coaching is a waste of time. Your child has to want to work hard and improve. I see swimmers that say they are getting private coaching and I don't see a difference at the pool.
Anita Alverez Olympian, didn't get private coaching she worked on her own in the backyard.
Elizabeth Davidson - National Team Champ didn't get private coaching.
Barb Nesbitt didn't get private coaching even though her mom was head coach.
Even one of our current top swimmers goes to the pool on her own and has improved greatly.
Just wanted to give you a heads up.
