USA Artistic Swimming declared 2026 will be the official “Year of the Coach,” a year-long initiative to celebrate the dedication, passion, and impact of coaches across the sport. ❤️

While athletes often take the spotlight, it is the coaches who put in countless hours, pour their hearts into every practice, and inspire growth that changes lives. USA Artistic Swimming is an athlete-first organization, but behind every incredible performance is a coach whose work and commitment often go unrecognized.

Coaches should be celebrated EVERYDAY, but we are starting by dedicating the first Wednesday of every month in 2026 to coaches!

Today is the first Wednesday of 2026 and the first day that we should thank our coaches.
