Convention information

Hailey, myself and your Athlete Rep, Tori Jang attended Convention. In case you don't know, convention is yearly and we talk about new rules and there is also some education.

The new thing that came out of Convention this year is for JO Nationals at the end of the season. A swimmer/team will need to make top 20 in order to do figures. So everyone swims their routine but only top 20 do figures.

They did not talk about the World Aquatics changes with the figures and times of the routines as that information was delayed in coming out from World Aquatics. We will have a draft to us on Sept 22 and then it will go for a vote in October. This makes it really challenging to choreograph routines as the times will be different and maybe there will be less hybrid you have to do. Not sure. So we will continue to work on basics, get back in shape, and work on skills we know you will need.
